GENERAL:
The Chamber Connection is currently located in Parsippany High School, 309 Baldwin Rd, Parsippany, NJ 07054. We operate both inside the school and at the Parsippany Visitors Center on N. Beverwyck Rd.
PURPOSE:
The Chamber Connection is part of the educational division of the Parsippany Area Chamber of Commerce and is student managed through the guidance of the Chamber, dedicated to fostering an educational relationship between local students and the business community, while developing communications for their future involvement in societal affairs through strong leadership. The objects of the Chamber Connection shall be to develop initiative and leadership, to provide experience in the (business) community and everyday financing, to serve the school and community, to cooperate with the school principal, to prepare for useful citizenship, and to promote student-community interaction.
VISION:
The communities recognize the Chamber Connection as a vital resource for the public health and societal benefit throughout the Parsippany Area and its surrounding communities through the educating of the students and the involvement with its head organization, the Parsippany Area Chamber of Commerce. We link businesses, students, and residents together in a common enterprise, and strive to accomplish both business and public advancements to be achieved through the educational training offered.
MISSION:
The Chamber Connection provides education, information, and effective programs for the students we serve and their respective communities. We provide members with opportunities to self development and practical business and leadership experience through applicable lessons and educational opportunities, while giving back to the community. With their leadership and participation in Chamber Connection, members show a genuine concern for the future and quality of life of the Parsippany Area.
